Chief Warrant Officer 2 Tim Buer, brigade food service advisor, checks on the latest shipment unitized group rations outside the field kitchen at the 347th Regional Support Group’s assembly area on Fort Hood, Texas. The UGRs, which include plates, utensils and condiments, feed up to 50 Soldiers, and Buer’s mess staff prepares the rations for breakfast and dinner for the nearly 200 Soldiers in the area.
