Cen-Tex College and Career Night

Central Texas high school students and their parents will have an opportunity to ask questions and gather information from 6-8 p.m. Sept. 26 at the annual Cen-Tex College and Career Night inside the Bell County Expo Center in Belton. Each year, the expo hosts students from school districts in Killeen, Copperas Cove, Belton, Temple and other Central Texas cities.

Students can meet with representatives from more than 100 colleges, including community colleges, universities, technical schools and the military, while also finding out information about admissions requirements, costs and the application process.

The event also includes information sessions on the Texas common application and the financial aid process.

Lone Stare Gun Show

The Lone Star Gun Show is set for 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Oct. 5 and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Oct. 6 at the Bell County Expo Center in Belton.

Participants are encouraged to bring in old guns and trade up for the gun they’ve always wanted. All kinds of merchandise will be available from new and used Guns to knives, swords, hunting gear, books, coins, medals, ammo, reloading equipment and supplies. Museum quality memorabilia might also be in stock.

Cost is $7 for adults and Children 12 and under are free. Also, parking is free.

Just Between Friends

Everyone is invited to shop the Just Between Friends Spring 2019 Bell County Sale Event. With more than 300 local families participating and more 10,000 square feet of shopping at Bell County Expo Center, there’s sure to be something for everyone.
