Lt. Col. Jose Polanco, commander, 1st Squadron, 9th Cavalry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, holds his breath as he plunges into a dunk tank during his unit’s organizational day June 18 at Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area. The unit raised funds for their Family readiness group as squadron leaders took turns in the dunk tank. Soldiers and Family members took the opportunity to make a small donation for three chances to dunk their leaders.
