CRDAMC Labor Day hours

Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, its primary care clinics, and COVID-19 testing sites will modify hours Friday to Monday in observance of the Labor Day federal holiday. The hospital remains open every day for emergency services, inpatient care, and labor and delivery services.

The Respiratory Drive-Thru will be closed throughout the weekend.

Monroe and Bennett Health clinics will be closed Friday. Active duty service members enrolled to either of those clinics should seek care at Thomas Moore Health Clinic from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday. All other clinics and services will be open.

All pharmacies will be closed Monday.

Mega Career Fair

Fort Hood’s semi-annual Mega Career Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sept. 14, at Club Hood. The event will feature 200 employers with more than 98,000 jobs available. Job seekers should come prepared for on-site interviews.

Santa’s Workshop

Fort Hood Santa’s Workshop, a non-profit organization that provides Christmas presents to thousands of children of military families in the Fort Hood community each year, is now accepting applications for this year’s holiday season.

Applications can be made online at https://www.forthoodsantasworkshop.com. The application period runs through Oct. 15.

Sprint Triathlon

The Spring Triathlon will be held at Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area, beginning at 8 a.m., Sept. 25. Early registration, through noon Sept. 22 is $15 for DoD ID card holders or $20 for non-ID card holders. On-site registration will be $20 for DoD ID card holders or $25 for non-ID card holders. Hood Howdy

The Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare & Recreation’s semi-annual Hood Howdy will be held from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Sept. 28, at Club Hood. This is a family-friendly event, full of information about Fort Hood and the surrounding communities. For more information, visit www.hood.armymwr.com.
