ID Card Facility moving

The Fort Hood Directorate of Human Resources announced Tuesday that the Identification Card Facility is moving from the Copeland Center to a new location in Building 130, located on the corner of T.J. Mills Boulevard and Battalion Avenue. That move will be completed Tuesday.

 “The ID Card Facility will continue to service its current customer base, (while) Soldiers will continue to coordinate Common Access Card issue and pin reset within their brigade,” Rick Nieberding, chief of DHR’s Military Personnel Division, said. Nieberding added that ID card customers should continue to use the RAPIDS Appointment Scheduler at https://idco.dmdc.osd.mil/idco.

Gate closing Friday, new hours

West Fort Hood’s Mohawk Gate will close Friday at 6 p.m., and re-open Tuesday at 5 a.m. with new hours of operation. Currently, Mohawk Gate is open 24/7 due to road construction on West Fort Hood, but that construction is scheduled to be completed on Friday. The new hours of operation for Mohawk Gate will be 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays. The gate will be closed on weekends and federal holidays.

New 24/7 MEO hotline

On Wednesday, III Corps and Fort Hood established the Military Equal Opportunity and Harassment Hotline, which is an additional avenue for Soldiers to anonymously report incidents of MEO and harassment. The hotline  provides 24/7 information on MEO and harassment policies and procedures on how and where to file complaints, the behaviors that constitute discrimination and harassment, and information how to receive help in the event of sexual assault. The new hotline number is 254-291-5717.
