Santa’s Workshop taking applications

Santa’s Workshop is now accepting applications for the 2020 Christmas season. The non-profit organization provides toys to military families to alleviate the financial stress of the holidays. More than 2,000 Fort Hood children were helped in 2019.

CRDAMC Drive-Thru modifying hours

The Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center’s Respiratory Drive-Thru screening zone, located near the CRDAMC Emergency Department, has changed its hours of operation.

The RDT is now operating from 8 a.m.–1 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon–4 p.m. Sunday. It will be closed on Saturdays.

TRICARE Prime enrollees with urgent, emergent care needs, or COVID-19 symptoms should seek assistance at the CRDAMC Emergency Department.

Beneficiaries may schedule and cancel appointments and view COVID-19 and Influenza test results using TRICARE Online at www.tricareonline.com.

Register now for upcoming election

Due to COVID-19, there will be a larger number of eligible voters using absentee ballots for the Nov. 3 election.

It is important voters allow sufficient time for ballots to be mailed and received by election officials.

Each state has their own requirements and deadlines. More information can be found at: https://www.fvap.gov.

SOS moving locations

Survivor Outreach Services is currently in the process of relocating to the Shoemaker Center and will be fully open for operations on Sept. 28. SOS will be located on the first floor. Operating hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. For more information, call 254-368-5365.
