3rd MCP-OD openings

The 3rd Main Command Post Operational Detachment (Corps) is seeking qualified candidates to join the organization for an upcoming deployment in support of III Armored Corps. The 3rd MCP-OD is an Army Reserve element that is partnered directly with III Corps. Soldiers assigned to the organization augment various staff sections within the Corps and work alongside their counterparts.

There are various opportunities for AT and ADT prior to deployment to attend road to war training events. Soldiers who remain with the organization or are assigned early enough may have the opportunity to attend Battle Staff. The two positions currently available are:

PAO Section, Public Affairs NCO, Rank: SFC, MOS: 46Z

G3 Information Operations, SR Public Affairs NCO, Rank: MSG, MOS: 46Z

Interested USAR members can contact Maj. John Barry at 314-750-0021 or john.a.barry24.mil@mail.mil to discuss the process of volunteering and transferring to the organization for this opportunity.
