In-person chapel services reopen

The reopening of in-person worship services will begin Sunday. For high-risk persons and families with small children, it is recommended they remain at home and continue to worship with the chapel community via Facebook Live streams, listed on Page B3.

The only service to adjust its start time is the Chapel NeXt service, which will begin at 11:15 a.m. All other congregation start times will remain the same.

Parishioners will wear masks and sit 6 feet apart, and families will sit together. There will be no religious education or watch care provided at this time, as assessments of the worship experience and community continue. For questions, call 254-288-6545.

Memorial Remembrance

Fort Hood’s annual Memorial Remembrance Boot Display will be set up on Sadowski Parade Field from June 27 to July 5. The display honors the sacrifices of approximately 7,700 service members who have paid the ultimate sacrifice since Sept. 11, 2001, and loved ones are invited to honor the fallen.
