Housing town hall set

A Fort Hood Family Housing Town Hall is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. June 25 in Howze Auditorium for Soldiers, families and civilians living in Fort Hood Family Housing. All Fort Hood Family Housing residents and chain of command are invited to attend. The Garrison and FHFH will provide updates, and residents will have an opportunity to ask questions.

Remembrance Run

A Remembrance Run 5K Run/Walk is set for 7 a.m. June 29 at Sadowski Field. The run is free and open to all. Registration is required to participate. To pre-register online, visit http://bit.ly/2EVWZvX.

On-site registration will also be available on race day at 6-6:45 a.m. For more information, call 254-285-5459. Also, the evening of June 29, boots will be on display for 24 hours/day during the annual Boot Memorial observance at Sadowski Field. Boots will remain until July 7.

LGBT celebration event

III Corps, Fort Hood and Darnall Medical Center are hosting a celebration as part of LGBT Pride Month. The event will feature a Soldier panel and performance by Dekota Blu. The celebration is set for 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. June 20 at the Phantom Warrior Center.

Rockin’ Fest

Rockin’ Fest is set for 9 a.m.-noon June 29 at Bronco Youth Center. The event is free and open to all. Festivities will include: Face painting, arts and crafts, games, music/ DJ, bounce and water inflatables, child safety demos and free food while supplies last. Lazy Days of Summer
