BEYOND SERVICE: EXHIBITION OF ARTWORKS BY VETERANS

Military veteran artwork will be on display at Bihl Haus Arts from Nov. 8 to Dec. 15. The veterans who will have artwork featured include veterans of the Vietnam War and operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. Bihl Haus Arts is located at 2803 Fredericksburg Road in San Antonio. COPPERAS COVE VETERANS DAY PARADE

Copperas Cove’s annual Veterans Day parade will begin at 10 a.m. Nov. 9 at the VFW Post 8577 parking lot and end on 10th Avenue.

WINGS & WHEELS FLY IN

The Pioneer Flight Museum will host vintage, classic and antique aircraft and vehicles, along with reenactors. The event begins at 9 a.m. Nov. 9 at the Old Kingsbury Aerodrome, 190 Pershing Lane in Kingsbury.

GRAPEVINE VETERANS DAY PARADE

KILLEEN VETERANS DAY PARADE

The city of Killeen will celebrate Veterans Day with an annual parade, beginning at 11 a.m. Nov. 11. The parade will run through downtown Killeen.

HARKER HEIGHTS VETERANS CEREMONY

The City of Harker Heights will host a Veterans Day ceremony at 7 a.m. Nov. 11. at the Carl Levin Park Amphitheater, located at 400 Miller’s Crossing in Harker Heights.

VETERANS DAY AT THE ALAMO

There will be a special military program at the Alamo, including demonstrations, living history and giveaways for all military and veterans from a.m.-5 p.m. Nov. 11.
