Mountain Bike Dana Peak

A Mountain Bike trip at Dana Peak is scheduled for 6-7:30 p.m. today. Participants will meet at the Recreation Equipment Checkout Center and depart from there to Dana Peak in Harker Heights. Transportation will be provided, however riders can drive themselves if preferred. Mountain bikes and helmets will also be provided.

Once at Dana’s Peak, instructors will fit riders with the correct size mountain bike and cover the basic fundamentals of riding. Then they will be free to ride around the trails or follow along with one of an instructor. The event is open to all and costs $25 per person. For information, call 254-317-5350.

Commander’s Cup: Softball

The 2020 Commander’s Cup: Softball tournament will begin March 24. Registration will be held through March 17.

The tournament is open to active duty personnel only. Teams must be in the same unit and there is a minimum of 14 players per team.

Dallas Cowboys combine

Caliber Collision and the Dallas Cowboys invite service members to register for the Military Combine Prelims on March 20 at AT&T Stadium. A skills test, NFL style combine with the same drills the pros run — like the 40-yard dash, vertical jump and broad jump. The top 50 participants will advance to the Heroes Day Military Combine on April 4. There, on the field at AT&T Stadium, they’ll compete for glory and a chance to announce a Dallas Cowboys draft pick. Open to all members of the U.S. Armed Forces.

Total Body Boot Camp

Total Body bootcamp, a full body cardio and strength conditioning workout, will be held from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at Ironhorse Physical Fitness Center.

The 45-minute workout class is composed of a variety of different exercises and equipment that will help build strength, endurance and speed.
