‘The Princess and the Pea’ Royal party A royal party will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at the Temple Cultural Activities Center. Admission is $20 and includes snacks, a chance to make your own crown or tiara, and one adult and child ticket to the show. You must R.S.V.P. for the party by today. Call the CAC at 773-9926. KILLEEN

Adult flag football

The Killeen adult flag football league will be open to men and women ages 17 and up Monday. Teams will be required to provide their own numbered jerseys, which must be the same color.

Games will be played on Sunday evenings. After playing at least ten games, teams can advance to the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation State Tournament. All games will be played on the multi-purpose fields at Lions Club Park.

‘Alice in Wonderland’

Indian Artifact Show

The Lampasas County Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Indian Artifact Show 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday at AMVETS (American Veterans).

This show provides the opportunity for vendors and exhibitors to showcase their archeological collections and wares. Among the many exhibits will be pendants, pottery, ceramics, points, tips, axes and other artifacts.

General admission is $2 for adults; children less than 12-years-old are admitted free.

HARKER HEIGHTS

Writing camp

Young authors can improve their writing skills by learning different writing techniques. The camp runs 1-4 p.m. Monday through Aug. 13 at the Harker Heights library.

Harker Heights activities

The Harker Heights Activities Center has programs aimed at keeping people cool and connected this summer.

YogaFit is a flow and fitness full-body workout.

The class runs from 10-11 a.m. Saturdays in Conference Room D. There is no charge for this class, which runs Saturdays through Aug. 15.

Green Steward seminars with area ecologists will run 5:30-7 p.m. Tuesdays through Aug. 18 in Conference Room C. Learn to be a conscientious consumer. The cost is $30 and includes interactive lectures and a healthy dinner each night.
