Court Martial results:
At a Special Court-Martial June 6, Spc. Jason Droddy, 1st Battalion, 229th Aviation Regiment, 21st Cavalry Brigade (Air Combat) pled guilty to Absence without Leave and Wrongful Use of Cocaine. A military judge sentenced him to 60 days confinement, reduction to the grade of E-1 and to be discharged from the service with a Bad-Conduct Discharge.
June 7 at a General Court-Martial, Spc. Curtis Lacefield, 2nd Special Troops Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, was found guilty of Receiving and Possessing Child Pornography. This conviction will require the Soldier to register as a sex offender in accordance with federal
law. A military judge sentenced him to nine years confinement and to be discharged
from the service with a Dishonorable Discharge.
