Court Martial results:

At a Special Court-Martial July 18, Spc. Bradley Aubuchon of the 62th Engineer Battalion, 36th Engineer Brigade pled guilty to Assault upon a Minor and Battery. A military judge sentenced him to 45 days confinement and reduction to the grade of E-3.

July 19 at a Special Court-Martial, Spc. James Mattingly, 4th Squadron, 9th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, was found guilty of Battery, Willfully Disobeying a Commissioned Officer and Obstruction of Justice. A military judge sentenced him to 45 days of hard labor without confinement and reduction to the grade of E-1.

At a Special Court-Martial July 21, Spc. Alan Simmons, 2nd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, was found guilty of Desertion and Wrongful Use of Marijuana. An officer panel sentenced him to four months confinement, reduction to the grade of E-1, forfeiture of $650 pay per month for four months and to be discharged from the service with a Bad-Conduct Discharge.
